Kali and Poo’s child can become a hazard.
…So where is it now?
(‼️OGREST MANGA SPOILERS‼️)
Warning(s) : mentions of infertility, miscarriage, and sexual assault.
.

.
.
.
.
We all know that the gods do not procreate with each other because they know they will create a calamity or a possible monster capable of killing the gods themselves.
Iop had once made the mistake of breaking that rule by drunkenly trespassing in Sadida’s sanctuary and deflowering Lacrima, one of Sadida’s ten divine dolls. Lacrima was a part of Sadida so Iop had essentially done the same thing to Sadida. Therefore, because Lacrima ended up getting pregnant and conceiving a child, Iop impregnated Sadida.
And just like that strict rule predicted, the offspring of two gods resulted in a monstrous child who possessed the power to slay those same gods. This child was named Cornu Mollu.
So what would happen if two demigods got together?
We know what kind of children a demigod would get with a mortal.
Goultard, a demigod iop, is an example of this and we can see how in the Dofus manga, he had many women and numerous children due to his relationships.
But despite growing so many families, the offsprings themselves couldn’t live as long as him. Every year, since their deaths, he goes back to the cemetery to pay respects to his wives and children he had in the past so he would never forget them and would be reminded that they all existed.
We even see in a special episode attributed to him that the kids were simply mortals.
So children belonging to a demigod and a mortal are either mortals or they can live very long but wouldn’t be labelled as a demigod.
We can also see that it can be possible for demigods to NOT be able to have children with mortals.
Otomaï, a demigod feca, is an example of this case. He once had a mortal woman in his life who was named Merina.
Unlike Goultard’s wives, Merina was the only woman in Otomaï’s life. The two had met at a young age and even went to school together. She would constantly follow him around when he was making his discoveries with science and would admire his knowledge and fascination for these kinds of things.
She later became a shepherdess and even told Otomaï she wanted to grow a family of their own so they could become the shepherds of their home.
But despite loving one another to the purest level, Merina wasn’t able to conceive a child with Otomaï. No matter how badly Merina wanted a family, their efforts were in vain. Otomaï wasn’t worried about her situation, however. He simply told her that in time, they would eventually have a child.
Merina's time was running out, unlike Otomaï who had all the time in the world. Therefore, Otomaï made a promise to find a way to make her pregnant, anticipating that with their efforts, they will soon be blessed with a child.
But no matter how hard he tried, he constantly failed over and over again. Merina was never angry at his attempts, however.
At some point in their lives, Merina eventually died of old age without making a family with him.
Otomaï was so distraught by this that he tried transferring her wakfu but to no avail. He even took out her reproductive organs to sew them in Dathura’s stomach in a desperate attempt but with no success.
After Merina's death, Otomaï decided to bury her beneath the shade of a tree. Sometime later, an acorn sprouted from that very tree, which was peculiar since it was the only one that had ever grown on that tree. This occurrence sparked a newfound hope in Otomaï to try again in order to preserve a memory of Merina's life.
After conducting his research and utilizing his alchemy skills along with the power of Merina's acorn, he was able to create Ogrest - a remarkable achievement that showcases the power of combining science and nature.
Otomaï’s story with Merina is possibly one of the only instances where we got to see a demigod unable to reproduce with a mortal. It is uncertain whether Merina's inability to bear children was due to her implied infertility or if Otomaï was the underlying cause. It's also possible that neither of them would have been able to have kids, regardless of who their partner was. The reader is left to draw their own conclusions on this matter.
We have learned two things about a demigod having a child with a mortal based on the cases of Goultard and Otomaï :
1) A demigod can reproduce with a mortal and can either have mortal children or children who can last a bit longer than the average mortal.
2) A demigod can try reproducing with a mortal but can fail no matter how many times they try.
So here’s where we come back to the question that started all of this.
What would happen if TWO demigods got together instead?
Based on my personal observation, there was just one instance in the krosmoz where we got to witness this particular situation unfolding. And that was in the Ogrest manga featuring two specific characters.
Kali and Poo.
Kali and Poo were in a romantic relationship which resulted in Kali becoming pregnant with their child.
Translation in the red circle.
Kali: “And who are you to tell me that?”
Poo: “The father of the child you’re carrying.”
But there are two issues regarding this peculiar situation.
Number One: Would the child turn out to become a demigod as well?
Number Two: Would it turn into a monster like Cornu Mollu capable of killing divinities?
In volume 4, Kali's stomach does not appear to have any significant pregnancy bump which suggests that she was still in the early stages of her pregnancy. Despite this, she was still able to move around and perform physical activities with ease, including killing people and using their body parts as clothing. This indicates that Kali recently discovered she was pregnant and was still capable of functioning normally during the early stages of her pregnancy. As the child grows, it remains uncertain how they will turn out.
Unfortunately, the Ogrest manga is still not complete but Mig, the illustrator for the manga, has recently been giving little sneak peeks on volume 5 so we will eventually see Kali and Poo again very soon.
Regardless, it still begs the question of what might happen to the future baby.
But what is even more baffling to realize, for those who have read the manga at least, Kali is NOT pregnant in Season 3 and Season 4.
Her involvement with Poo happened in the Dofus era so we should be able to see the child in the Wakfu era. And yet, we don’t see anything about them. We don’t get a mention of them or if they even exist.
This is rather odd because Kali and Poo were very much always seen together in the fourth volume of the Ogrest manga when they became adults.
So the child should’ve been conceived between the Dofus and Wakfu era right?
Again, if we look at the gods, they strictly do NOT meddle with each other because they are aware of what they can make together.
Poo and Kali don’t seem like they know this fact. Or maybe they simply don't care.
So here are four possibilities I came up with:
1) The child has been conceived but is a demigod sacrier or pandawa and there are no consequences to Kali and Poo’s affair.
2) The child is a mortal sacrier or pandawa but died from old age between the two eras.
3) The child is an actual monster and due to its nature, the brotherhood of the forgotten had to kill it whether Kali and Poo wanted to or not.
4) Kali had a miscarriage because two demigods are not able to fully have a child together.
Personally, I cannot think of any positive outcomes for the child. I think that no matter what happens, it will not be good.

Hot Take
Season 3 should have revealed Eva is a demigoddess instead of Ruel.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm actually quite happy with season 4 focusing on her origins and Madagaskan, even if that was clearly only introduced to set up Flopin's character arc during the upcoming Waven series. But the thing I can never seem to get over is how irrelevant the Cra actually are in season 3. Their arc is literally to be rescued/to escape and to give birth (in Eva's case).
Because, let's face it, their relevance in the season hinged entirely on being Tristepin's family. Eva in particular, regardless of how cordial Echo was to her, seemed to have no value outside of being Tristepin's wife who's carrying his third child, who was later revealed to be an extremely powerful demigod.
Meanwhile, poor Flopin's kidnapping didn't even make sense because he just isn't a demigod like his siblings. Yes, he is Iop's son, but he's not an Iop, so he couldn't inherit any of his father's divine powers. As opposed to Élely and Pin, who already displayed theirs at 5 years old and before being even born, respectively. Hell, that ended up being the crux of his character in season 4! His insecurities over not being as extraordinary as his family, especially his siblings!
Yes, you could say Oropo's real plan besides killing the gods was to make Yugo's friends his, and that's why he wanted Eva and Flopin around. But considering he didn't seem all that contrite over Adamaï almost causing Iop's next reincarnation while he couldn't even bring himself to make Amalia age (even though he was not above breaking her spirit so she'd be easier to manipulate), it's fairly obvious he cared more about keeping certain members of the Brotherhood near than others. Which further proves he only kidnapped Eva and Flopin because of their connection to Pinpin.
And let's face it, between that and how out of focus they were compared to the Iops, that's just such a huge disservice to their characters. They deserve so much more than to orbit around Tristepin.
Which is why I believe Eva should have been Cra's daughter and Oropo's target instead of Ruel. Even though nothing really suggested her divine origins before, they could have always hand-waved it and have that explain her craziest feats, like how she was able to keep up with two demigods even while heavily pregnant or her formidable archery skills. Because, come on, until Madagaskan was introduced, the only relevant Cra in the show were Eva, Cleo, and Flopin. It's not like by the time season 3 dropped we'd seen any other member of their race display the same level of dexterity so as to make Eva's prowess being divine in nature not make sense.
Also, in could retroactively explain her exceptional beauty, since most Cra we've seen are actually fairly plain-looking.
Besides, you're telling me that out of the original members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, only the boys are the ones related to gods? Come on. Is a little bit of parity that much to ask?
And let's face it, Ruel being Enutrof's son doesn't bring anything new to the table other than some shock value. Like, I get he's always been hinted to be more than meets the eye, but being a demigod doesn't really add much to his character.
Hey, maybe I just don't know much about Enutrofs since they don't give me brainrot compared to other classes, but compared to the rest of his kind, Ruel isn't all that unique either, except for how utterly greedy he is. His powers and attacks, while impressive at times, can never reach their full potential because he just doesn't pay tribute to Enutrof, so they remain relatively weak. And though being a demigod would explain how long-lived he is, that falls flat as well when Arpagone seems to be just as old as he is and his grandma's even older.
Again, longevity could be a standard Enutrof power I'm just not aware of. Still, it pretty much proves my point, doesn't it?
Not to mention, it's not like changing Ruel's status as the group's surprise demigod would really change anything from his storyline in season 3. They could have perfectly had Arpagone be the Enutrof demigoddess whose condition to play a part in Oropo's plan was to be allowed to keep her husband even as she ascended to godhood. Hence, you still get your flashback episode and an excuse to capture Ruel and have Sipho replace him to drive a wedge between Yugo and Amalia and kidnap the latter.
But no, let's go with the plot point that won't be touched upon ever again.
And speaking of things that wouldn't necessarily change just because Eva were a Cra demigoddess, you could still keep Madagaskan's role in season 4!
Maybe just make it so Eva and Cleo are actually half-sisters with the same father but a different mother (or vice versa, given the goddesses' apparent distaste for getting pregnant themselves). While I'd personally prefer it if Madagaskan simply had a tryst with Cra and then he fell in love with his late wife, if you're into drama, Eva could always be the result of an affair but his wife chose to take her in and raise her as her own, anyway. Hence, you would have another reason why Madagaskan went along with her last wish, out of love for her and to repay her kindness and forgiveness.
(Or you could enforce his love for his wife by having him be the one to accept her other child and to make sure both her and his own daughter had a better life).
And from then on, everything could play out exactly like canon.
In fact, Eva being semi-divine would also add another layer to Cleophée's inferiority complex and feelings of inequacy compared to her older sister. Much like Flopin, of course she could never catch up to Eva no matter how hard she tried, she isn't a demigoddess!
Which would make Eva's acceptance and pride over her abilities all the more meaningful too (even if by then they wouldn't know the truth).
And speaking of Flopin, his season 4 storyline would remain the same, too. After all, even if he would now be related to Cra, he'd still be a demigoddess' child first and foremost.
As @cocogum explored in one of her analyses, the children of demigods are their own can of worms. So far, we don't know anything about Kali and Poo's baby, but we do know that Goultard's children certainly didn't inherit immortality of any kind, so it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume they didn't inherit his divine powers either. In other words, Flopin could still feel left out—even with more reason, since now he would be the only "non-exceptional" member of his family—and choose to follow his grandfather in order to find his own path.
I guess what I'm trying to say with all this is that while Amalia might be my blorbo and Yumalia my OTP, I still care for all the members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, especially Eva. And I can't really forgive that while Pinpin still had focus and issues of his own by virtue of being the reincarnated Iop god, Eva's character was ultimately reduced to being his wife and mother of his children when she's actually so much more than that.

Rating Wakfu Couple
3/10 Ogrest X Dathura (canon)
These two are not meant to be in a romantic relationship. Possibly, even with another person. These two are no more that newborns, they have no understanding of what it is to be in this type of relationship. But I found it perfect to be in the same family. They both need love and acceptance. Dathura is therefore more of a big sister than a love interest.
5/10 Eva X Tristepin
I just think that their relationship beginnings (season 1 and season 2) took turns too tight. Their early relationship is really pushed by the authors that at first we wondered: "but why they are together"
At my level, it had them to become parents to look like a couple that is made to last. Until the end or the sad past catches up with them.
6/10 Chibi X Mina (canon)
Calm down at first and know that this couple is CANON and I find it beautiful. I love mythological stories, and in my books when your parents created the universe, you’re going to marry one of your sibling to lead your people and create a world.
And these two have father and mother’s lives for their other brothers and sisters, and for their people.
7/10 Poo X Kali (canon)
Seen in the manga Ogrest. Impossible to expand too much on why without spoiling the story. But these two have a common background and their personality balances perfectly.
7/10 Qilby X Chibi
What better for absolute curiosity than the absolute inventor.
For better understanding of they dinamyc I find this fic resuming all the possibility
(I will not make them all would become a little uniquity otherwise)
8/10 Amalia X Yugo (canon)
Season 4 had to exist and the webtoon took over for me to catch the inter of these two. Even if I have seen this couple build little by little, I find that they have not had enough emblematic or more significant moments. Yes I think of the marriage with Harebourg, if the guy had not had a spider on the ceiling, it would be Amalia X Harebourg in this place and they would have a lower score.
9/10 Qilby X Otomaï
At first, we find the same qualities present as if Qilby was with Chibi. But with a worship more turned towards the future. If he had a deeper redemptive bow, it would be a perfect choice.
Moreover Otomai having taken in complexity in the manga Ogrest and not only in good. But unlike Qilby he tries to learn from his mistakes, the important thing is to try. The idea of seeing these two go a long way together is rather comforting
10/10 Alia X Bordegann (canon)
Perfect fairy tale couple. If we touch their happiness of this little couple I going to be very upset. 👩🏻❤️💋👨🏻
10/10 Jiva X Ulgrud (canon)
Lets them reste now, please. 😿
11/10 Noximillien X Galante (canon)
Galante loved her husband and it broke her to go away from him, but she put their child’s life before her happiness. Also, if the chaos of Ogrest had not prevailed, Nox would NEVER have seen the light of day. But it’s their love that makes Nox the best villain we’ve ever had.
20/10 Nora X Amalia
I quickly fell in love with this possible couple. Who in addition to filling the gaps between yumalia and a strong couple. At first, I’m a little biased because Nora, one of my favorite characters from the game on XBOX (2011), not to mention the fears that this character is ruined. She had finally returned. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (She is doomed but snif) BUT the possibility of these two warrior princesses exists and being together is really my absolute (in this ranking)

Wakfu Season 3, Episodes 7-13
Episode 7 - Pinball Hazard
Of course you would say that, Ruel.
Are those Nora's........
Anyway.
Fun fact: these are Kerubim's cards from rehab.
I have no idea what Ush is doing with them, but it is funny that he has them.
Episode 8 - Arpagone
Even though I have rewatched s3 multiple times (sadly), I am still not sure if Ankama means for us to go away from it thinking that Ruel is an enutrof demigod.
If I am not insane, and it is what we are meant to understand, then all I can say is: instead of retconning things, they should have added some cool new demigod, or brought in an old one. This sucks.
They shuoild add Meriana in Wakfu. Though not as a brotherhood member, she would never join their cult.
HIIII SIMONE. Once again, I am not sure if this is Ankama saying that Ruel is older than 600 years old and all of his "omg dofus era was so long ago... haha" was a strategic gaslight to keep people from knowing (AND that his grandmother is ALSO older than 600 years old)
Or if Ankama just has no regard or respect for Dofus Aux Tresors de Kerubim and people who watch their shows, and decided "we hate one of the literal main characters of that show so much that we will use her as a background character design" as early as s3, actually.
More weirdass asset reusages have hit the pentagon. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ankama just unironically hates Dofus fans or expects nobody to care about that show or Simone as a character.
Like... what does this mean. Does this mean that he's older than 600 years? Does this mean he's a demigod, BUT he's a normal mortal age? One of leaked studio timelines says he's approximately 200 years old, but so is YUGO'S DAD, WHO IS MORTAL. Is THAT canon? Ankama can you actually settle on a singular thing here?
I think I hate enutrof lore now 🤪
Episode 9 - The Sadida Temple
#kin #me #same #female manipulator #literally me #coquette
Episode 10 - When the Walls Fall Down
This episode is so cringe it makes me suicidal.
Ok fine, Pinpin being happy IS cute. I'll give you that, Tot.
Episode 11 - Oropo
When Ankama Misogyny Olympics happen and Julith, Aurora, Lou, Jiva, Eva, Simone, and Bakara show up to compete — they all just start crying the second Kali comes near them, because they KNOW they'll lose.
I need this season to be over asap, I can't take this anymore. Adamai, Amalia... I'm so, so sorry that the writers have lobotomized you.
Episode 13 - Inglorium
Ok I unironically cried. I hate this series for making me cry because of season 3.

Look what I found! My old school project. It was a simple exercise, three action pages. I could use any character I wanted, so I piked Kali and my Oc Vitreo. Aside from the school exercise, this is something that could have happened in Vitreo's story.
At the beginning I wanted to use Toxine but I choose to have at least one character with facial expretion.

Count Harebourg is alive. Here’s why.
Believe me, this claim sounds laughable, but trust me on this.
Harebourg, the count of Frigost, the xelor demigod, Xelor's son, the crazy narcissistic punk from the Ogrest manga, and a complete weirdo stalking a 13-year-old royal in her adventures, is alive.
Many people would understandably believe that he was gone for good when the eliabomb completely destroyed Oropo's pocket dimension.
But what if he was never there to begin with? What if he wasn't there with Oropo and Echo during that time?
Before I explain my theory, though, I'd like to show you some very odd proof that our lovable, crazed demigod xelor is alive in the sequel of the Wakfu mmorpg. Which would be Waven.
Thanks to Waven, we learned that the world now divided itself into four clans:
The Order Clan
The Nature Clan
The Science Clan
The Trade Clan
Each twelvian has a purpose to fill, contribute, and is a member of one of those four clans.
So far, the only people who you get to receive quests from those clans are the following: Dally, Eva, Ruel, Alibert, Arpagone, Coqueline, Ogrest, Otomai, Dathura, Goultard, Kali, Black Bump, Joris, Jerubim, Atcham, Moumoune, Sipho, Maskemane, Justice Knight, Renata, Miranda, Kabrok, and Yrehn.
That makes 23 canon people in total who survived the great wave. We know that those are canonical survivals because some of those quests contain little pieces of lore and information that already hint at some things that happened during the beginning of the Waven era.
Things like the fact that Coqueline has become Sipho's new master now that Echo is no longer alive. Not only that, but Sipho and Kali, residents of Coqueline's animal sanctuary island, now listen to and obey her for anything.
We can also see that Kali and Sipho joined the Nature Clan with Coqueline. Unlike Coqueline, however, they have no reason to be in a clan that doesn't correspond to their ideals and passions, yet they joined it to stay with her and follow her orders.
Joris became the king of Bonta and joined the Science Clan.
Kerubim, as always, manages his bazaar store and yet surprisingly joined the Science Clan instead of the Trade Clan.
As for Atcham, he joined the Trade Clan, most likely just so he could find a good excuse to beat the shit out of anyone who'd give him fake goods.
Meanwhile, you have Kabrok and Miranda, who never stopped their selling tactics and joined the Trade Clan together. (I wonder what happened to their daughter, though, since we don't see her in their shop. There's literally no sign of her anywhere, but let's not jump to conclusions yet.)
And then, we have Yrehn, who some may know her from the upcoming Bestiale show. She'll be playing a major role in it as the main character soon.
So her being a part of Waven by making her first appearance in this way is huge proof that the people giving you quests in Waven ARE, IN FACT, alive and well in this new era.
Now that we have enough evidence that the quest-givers are canon to Waven, this only begs one question.
If Harebourg is dead, why is he in Waven?
Not only is he here, but he is also a quest-giver and has joined one of the four cardinal clans in the world. Even his choice for joining the Science Clan makes sense, given his mindset and xelor nature.
Of all the people the Waven team could've given the responsibility to give quests to, they chose the one with the least reasons to be there. Literally, if you take a look at all the other characters that give you quests so far, they all pretty much have legitimate reasons to have survived the great wave: Joris became king of Bonta, Atcham and Kerubim were with Joris because they always tag along with him, Miranda and Kabrok survived because you can buy things from their island shop in Waven, Yrehn is alive because she's the next main character in the upcoming show Bestiale that happens during Waven, Kali and Sipho are alive because you can tell by their dialogues when they give you quests that they joined Coqueline in the Nature clan which also confirms Coqueline is alive. Dally, Eva, Goultard, Ruel, and Alibert are alive because you can participate in missions with Dally, Eva, and Goultard in Waven's story mode. You can see Ruel at Astrub, and Alibert has real dialogues when he gives you quests about how he still works at his inn, which means Yugo's home also survived. Maskemane is here because the last time we saw him was in the Ecaflip Dimension, so he somehow succeeded in coming back and missing the great wave. Ogrest and Otomai are also here because you can see them in Waven's story mode. Arpagone and Moumoune are enutrofs and well...well they're enutrofs they somehow survived the Dofus era and the Wakfu one so it wouldn't be surprising if they're still here. Dathura and Black Bump are demigods and have gone to their own corners, Renata may not have explainable reasons why he's here, but I believe that since there are still sadidas in Waven, so can Renata be there. As for Justice Knight, it would simply be too weird for him not to have survived the great wave.
So again, why is Harebourg here?
All the other quest-givers not only have canon dialogues on what they could be doing in Waven, but they also have genuine reasons to have survived the great wave.
Harebourg doesn't have either of these.
(He doesn't have canon dialogues because all of his quests are about experimentations and nothing about himself)
Unless something did happen in Season 3, and we didn't see it.
Hear me out. I have a theory that could solve all of this.
It took me a couple of months to think about it, but I FULLY believe that even though his place in Waven is off-putting, THERE IS ACTUALLY A REASON WHY HE'S HERE.
This is where we come to my theory:
Harebourg’s ice magic should have been able to get destroyed during Pin’s birth back in Season 3.
When you’ve got a copy paste version of a DEMIGOD (Oropo) telling a DRAGON (Adamaï) that Pin’s birth is stronger than him AND managed to destroy his tower, you know Harebourg’s own ice magic just HAD to have been demolished.
Oropo wasn’t just carelessly saying that he couldn't withstand Pin's power. The guy literally had trouble reconstructing his own tower every time Eva was pushing! He had the Eliacube, an artifact stronger than the gods combined together! An eliacube is a mechasm's heart, and we can see how even the mother of the Krosmoz, Eliatrope, had trouble being accepted by it. And since it was said that Harebourg’s ice couldn’t get destroyed by a mortal, guess who did manage to break it.
The Iop god.
So if Oropo said that Pin was able to overpower him while he had one of the most powerful artifacts that the World of Twelve and the krosmoz has ever known, Harebourg should DEFINITELY have been freed by now.
Yes, he may have not been saved by Echo’s feathers during the final fight, but he must’ve had a few recall potions to bring him back to the World of Twelve. Given from what we’ve seen with Poo, every member of the brotherhood has one or more potions that can lead them back to the tower or to the World of Twelve.
For Harebourg, his recall potions strictly only redirected him back to Frigost. And that's exactly what happened in this scenario. As soon as Pin's birth ended, Harebourg's ice prison broke, leaving him understandably confused and disoriented by the change of location and situation he was in. So, knowing that he had no business in whatever was going on at that time, he decided to drink one of his potions and go back to Frigost.
His absence in the political meeting with the royals and counts from Season 4 makes sense since it's been a few years that Frigost hasn't had him.
(The only reason why he wasn't in the meeting of Season 2 was because it was only reserved for all the race leaders to learn more about the new race on their planet. That would also explain why Lance Dur, being a count, and the king of Amakna weren't there. The Queen of Sufokia wasn't there despite representing a race, but she had a reason not to be there since she was busy finding a location for her people at that time. Astra, the main queen of Bonta wasn't there either because the king of Brakmar was there. Although even if Harebourg was allowed to participate in that Season 2 meeting, he wouldn't have come since he couldn't give two shits about any other nation or race except caring for his dear Frigost lol)
Due to his major absence from Frigost, he was too busy catching up to his lands' problems to care about what was going on to the rest of the world.
To conclude, Harebourg may have survived, but he was the only member of the Brotherhood of the Forgotten to have missed so much.
So what do you think?
This all makes perfect sense, right?
Right?
No joke, I fully believe that this is exactly how it happened because you cannot tell me that Pin managed to destroy Oropo's tower REPEATEDLY but did not break Harebourg's ice.
It also makes perfect sense that Ankama would've seen that big detail from Season 3 and retcon the whole thing by making him appear on Waven, which is why he'd even be there in the first place.
On another note, there might have been an actual reason why Harebourg had been forgotten by his brotherhood.
@doc-acher once summarized the explanation here. It's basically a conspiracy theory that explains why Harebourg might have been forgotten, a petty reason which made Tot retract his statement about saying Harebourg died years ago in some of his past tweets 👇
Btw that last tweet says:
Zexion: Thank you for this amazing season! I gotta ask: what happened with Harebourg at the end?
Tot: Uh...I think he ended up with Echo and Oro
IRGL: Or it's another way to say "oops, I zapped him" :p
Tot: I zapped him :)

I was hit with the realisation that even if Echo hadn't intervened to stop Oropo, his plan, to destroy the gods and replace them with the Brotherhood of the Forgotten, would have failed nonetheless.
If I'm not mistaken, Oropo intended to weaken the gods by severing their connection to the World of Twelve and then destroying them so his followers could ascend and replace them. However, by severing that connection, he, too, would have robbed himself of his new pantheon. Because the demigods' powers aren't a result of their divine parentage, but of their alignment.
True, being descended from gods grants the Siblings semi-immortality and stronger abilities than their mortal counterparts, but they still owe their powers to their race. In other words, Coqueline, for example, is an Osamodas demigoddess not only because her father is indeed the god Osamodas, but because she herself is an Osamodas.
The best example of this is actually Flopin. Technically speaking, he is a demigod—his father is Iop's latest reincarnation—and Oropo chose him to become the next Cra God. However, with the reveal that, as an Eliotrope, Oropo shares Yugo's memories and feelings, then it becomes plain to see his insistence on Flopin and Élely joining his cause had less to do with them being legitimately good candidates and more with his desire to make the Brotherhood of the Tofu his.
Just like he targeted Amalia despite already having Dathura as his next Sadida goddess and Echo as his lover. Those were Yugo's feelings clouding his judgement.
But back to Flopin and how he proves Oropo's plan was futile since the very beginning, unlike Élely and Pin, Eva's Little Wolf has never displayed any special powers beyond those of a normal Cra, something he himself is acutely aware of in season 4. That is because, while he might be Tristepin's son, he is not an Iop, and therefore, he can't inherit any divine power because he is not actually connected to the god Iop like Élely, Pin, and Goultard are.
And that is the most basic aspect of the franchise: your powers come from the god you worship.
This all comes to show that if Oropo had succeeded in destroying the gods, his chosen ones would have not been able to replace them as he intended, because if he killed the gods and severed the Twelvians' connection to them, then the Siblings would have been rendered powerless too, maybe even gone back to being regular humans. Meaning everything Oropo had done to fulfill his dream would have been for naught.
In fact, I'd go as far as to say the only ones who wouldn't have suffered the same fate would have been Adamaï, Yugo (since, before season 4, there was no indication that the goddess Eliatrope lived in Inglorium), Echo and Sipho (due to their dragon heritage), and Oropo himself, as he draws his power from Yugo and the other Eliotropes.
But who's to say he wasn't counting precisely on that to become the Supreme God as he declared back in season 3? After all, he was a master manipulator...
Some food for thought.
